A Process Built Around the Two Questions You Actually Have

Customers ask the same two things before anything else: what will this cost, and how long will it take. The process below exists so both are answered before a single tool comes out of the van.

Everything else follows from that. No work begins until you have understood the problem and approved the price.

Our Process

How It Works, Step by Step

01

Get in Touch

Send a message or call and describe what is happening, including when the problem started. We will ask a few questions to work out whether this is urgent or can be scheduled normally. You will then be given an appointment window that suits you.

01

Tell Us About the Project

Describe what you are dealing with, whether that is a hot upstairs bedroom, aging attic insulation, or a build that needs insulation before inspection. Photos help, and construction plans help more.

02

On-Site Diagnosis

Your plumber arrives and inspects the fixture, line or appliance causing the trouble. Where the problem sits underground or behind a wall, a camera inspection or leak location work may be used to find it without unnecessary digging. The aim is to identify the real cause rather than treat the symptom.

03

Plain English Explanation

You get told what is wrong in language that makes sense, without technical terms doing the heavy lifting. If there is more than one sensible route, such as a repair now versus a replacement later, both are explained. You decide which direction suits your property and your budget.

04

Price and Timeline Before Work Starts

You receive the cost for the agreed work and an estimate of how long it should take. Anything that could change the price, such as poor access or a second fault behind the first, is flagged at this point. Nothing proceeds until you say yes.

05

The Work Itself

Your plumber completes the repair or replacement using the method agreed with you. If something unexpected appears once a wall or floor is opened, work pauses and you are consulted before continuing. Materials and methods are chosen to suit the age and condition of your plumbing.

06

Testing and Clean Up

Every repaired fixture or line is tested before the job is called finished. Your plumber shows you what was done and explains anything worth watching over the next few weeks. The work area is cleaned up before we leave.
